How to Estimate the Cost of College

This calculator provides an approximation of what a new, undergraduate student can expect to pay to attend New Mexico State University. It is not intended for use by continuing, graduate, or part-time students, who should contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.

The process will take about 10 minutes. You will need:

  • Your family’s 2022 tax return and W2s (or, if you've already completed the FAFSA, you will need to know your Student Aid Index (SAI) amount.
  • The student’s academic information (including GPA, ACT scores, and SAT scores)
