New Mexico Scholars Scholarship Program:

The New Mexico Scholars' Program was created to encourage New Mexico high school students, who have not yet turned 22, to attend public or selected private non-profit colleges in New Mexico.
Award: Tuition and fees plus a book stipend.
Requirements: 25 ACT composite score (1160 SAT) OR Top 5 percent of high school graduating class AND a combined family income of no more than $30,000 a year for one student in college or no more than $40,000 a year for more than one student in college.
To Apply: Applicants are required to submit either a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) OR applicants may submit a copy of their parents' federal tax return for the year in which the student was a junior or senior. Note: If submitting copies of tax returns, please submit to the scholarship department directly.
Renewable: 3.0 cumulative GPA and 12 graded credits earned each semester. Scholarship award is for a maximum of eight semesters or until graduation, whichever comes first. Requires graduation from a NM high school. Recipients must initially enroll and remain enrolled full-time at the New Mexico State University main campus (Las Cruces).
