Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarship Services

General Endowed Scholarships

The following scholarships may be available (depending on specific donor criteria) for new freshmen, transfer and continuing students attending NMSU. Priority consideration goes to NMSU student applicants who apply by the March 1 deadline, as well as those applicant's whose current scholarship is renewable. See application at: http://www.nmsu.edu/~finaid/

By completing this one (1) application, NMSU student applicants will be considered for all of the General Scholarships they qualify for. These scholarships are funded by outside donors and are selected either by a representative of the NMSU Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarship Services and/or by committee effort (depending on specific donor wishes).

NOTE: If financial need is part of the donor criteria, a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be filed in order to determine and verify need level. Financial need is determined by Federal Government guidelines and is based upon the processing results of your FAFSA. See application at: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/
