New Entering Freshmen and New Transfer Students
Unless otherwise noted, these scholarships require confirmation of graduation from an accredited New Mexico high school or a passing NM GED. Students must be admitted to NMSU by March 1st in order to be eligible for the Opportunity, Regents, and Crimson Academic scholarships for Fall.
If noted, some may require an online NMSU scholarship application. Once you are admitted you must set up your MYNMSU account at http://my.nmsu.edu. The scholarship application is available on-line beginning in late December through March 1st. In addition to the following scholarships, there are also General and Departmental Scholarships available for new freshmen, transfer and continuing students.
NOTE: All major scholarships require recipients to enroll full-time (12 new graded credit hours) and remain enrolled full time each semester.
