New Entering Freshmen and New Transfer Students
Unless otherwise noted, these scholarships require confirmation of graduation from an accredited New Mexico high school or a passing NM GED. Students must be admitted by March 1, 2008 in order to be eligible for the Opportunity, Regents, and Crimson Academic scholarships for Fall 2008.
If noted, some may require an online NMSU scholarship application. It is recommended that once you are admitted you set up your mynmsu account at http://my.nmsu.edu. The application is available on-line beginning in early January through March 1st. In addition to the following scholarships, there are also General and Departmental Scholarships available for new freshmen, transfer and continuing students.
NOTE: All major scholarships require recipients to enroll full-time (12 graded credit hours) and remain enrolled full time each semester with at least one course at the Las Cruces campus of NMSU. Please visit the Scholarship Department or call (505) 646-4597 for further details.
