Crimson Academic Scholarship

Entering Freshmen (enrolling directly out of high school), admitted to NMSU by March 1st.

No scholarship application required.

Award: Tuition and fees plus $250/semester

Requirements: 26 ACT composite score (1170-1200 SAT) OR 24 ACT composite score (1090-1120 SAT) AND 3.75 High School GPA

Renewable: 3.25 NMSU GPA and completion of 12 new graded credit hours the first semester. Thereafter, renewable based on a 3.5 cumulative GPA and completion of 12 new graded credit hours per semester. Scholarship award is for a maximum of eight semesters or until graduation, whichever comes first. Requires graduation from an accredited New Mexico high school. If eligible, the New Mexico Legislative Lottery Scholarship will fund the tuition portion of tuition and fees, and NMSU Crimson Academic will cover the fees portion, beginning the 2nd semester. Recipients must be enrolled full-time at the NMSU main campus (Las Cruces). All scholarships are subject to change in accordance with federal, state, and university regulations.
